Introduction
To the art of Sandy Viktor Nys, aka HYBRYDS, Magisch theater production, Magthea. From the City Art academy of evening and weekend in Aarschot to the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and Ghent. I tried pen, paper, paint and canvas until the airbrush alone remained. In the end of the previous century, I met them the first time, they were slow and you needed many coffee breaks for any results: a Mac computer, Photoshop and a Wacom drawing pen. Since then I have never touched pen, paper, paint or brush again. My commercial work are album covers, posters and advertisements, video, interactive websites and digital projects... The themes of my personal art are Paganism, fairy tales, myths and legends. From portraits to stories, all (non-professional) models are captured by me. Sometimes I leave the picture as it is; otherwise I edit it to a new universal story. The story that the model gives me.

Van de avond en weekend Akademie te Aarschot, tot de Koninklijke Akademie voor Schone kunsten te Antwerpen en Gent. Pen, papier, verf en doek tot uiteindelijk alleen de airbrush overbleef. Dit resulteerde tot de ZOO bus en tram en de toenmalige didaktische panelen van de dierentuin in Antwerpen.
Begin jaren 90 van vorige eeuw, zag ik ze de eerste keer, ze waren traag en je had vele koffie pauzes nodig eer je resultaat had: een Mac computer, een Wacom tekenpaneel en Photoshop.
Sindsdien heb ik nooit meer pen of penseel aangeraakt.
Van platen hoezen tot posters en reklame advertenties en vanaf deze eeuw, ook video, websites en interactieve digitale projecten. Het kan allemaal met de computer.
De themas van mijn persoonlijke kunst zijn het Paganisme, sprookjes, mythen en legenden. Van portretten tot verhalen, alle ( niet –professionele) modellen worden door mij vastgelegd. Soms hou ik de foto zoals hij is, anders bewerk ik hem tot een nieuw universeel verhaal. Het verhaal dat het model mij aanrijkt.
